As a long-time resident of the City of Kawartha Lakes, I truly feel that this is a fantastic and safe place to live, work and raise a family. With the convenience of being only an hour and a half from Toronto, I am surrounded daily by an abundance of sparkling lakes and waterways, vast rolling farmland and a bounty of beautiful wilderness. As well as all of the natural beauty that the City of Kawartha Lakes provides, it also offers a great hospital and schools, many shops and theatres, numerous outdoor concerts and art shows, and great recreation with miles and miles of hiking and snow mobile trails.
